Arrival Procedures

To ensure a safe and organized start to the school day, please review the following arrival expectations:

  • The school building opens at 8:00 a.m. for students who would like to enjoy free breakfast before classes begin.
  • All students must enter through the main entrance on Crane Street.
  • At 8:30 a.m., students will be permitted to visit their lockers and then proceed directly to their homeroom classrooms.
  • Breakfast service ends promptly at 9:00 a.m.

We encourage students to arrive on time so they can begin the day prepared for learning.

Dismissal Procedures

Student safety is our top priority during dismissal. To ensure a smooth and secure process, the following procedures will be followed each day:

  • At 3:35 p.m., eighth-period teachers will escort students to their lockers to retrieve their belongings.
  • After collecting their items, students will line up with their teacher and be escorted to their designated dismissal area.
  • Teachers will remain with students until the 3:40 p.m. dismissal bell.

Bus Riders

  • Students who ride the bus will be escorted to the Rohns exits by support staff.
  • Bus riders will be dismissed at 3:40 p.m.

Parent Pick-Up and Walkers

Students will be dismissed from the following locations:

  • Kindergarten through 2nd Grade: Georgia Door 13
  • 3rd through 5th Grade: Crane Door 1
  • 6th through 8th Grade: Crane Door 15

Siblings

Older siblings should meet their younger brothers or sisters at the younger sibling's designated dismissal door.

Late Pick-Up

Students who have not been picked up after dismissal will be escorted to the auditorium, where they will remain under staff supervision until a parent or authorized adult arrives.

School Uniform Colors

Students are expected to follow the school dress code each day.

Bottoms

Students may wear:

  • Navy blue pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers
  • Black pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers
  • Khaki pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers
  • Blue jeans

Please note: Clothing with rips, tears, or holes is not permitted.

Tops

Pre-K through 5th Grade

  • Blue
  • Light Blue
  • White

Middle School

  • 6th Grade: Gray
  • 7th Grade: Yellow
  • 8th Grade: Black
